Ontario Fish Finder stores your email address, an encrypted password hash when you use password sign-in, and the favourites, catches and waypoints you choose to sync.

Google sign-in

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares your selected account's verified email address and a stable account identifier with Ontario Fish Finder. We use them only to create or identify your Ontario Fish Finder account. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars or other Google services.

The Google sign-in flow may use a temporary security cookie to prevent forged login requests. Google's handling of information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Cookies

After you sign in, Ontario Fish Finder uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Anonymous use of the map and informational pages does not require an Ontario Fish Finder account cookie.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and its synced information from the account page.
